We love make up, there’s no hiding it but I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t like the price of certain products from time to time. My bank account surely cannot keep up with all the make up wish lists I have so I’ve spent more time browsing the drug store shelves for more reasonably priced alternatives! Drug store products can be a hit or miss for everyone but it’s easy to see many of the brands are stepping up their game to keep up with higher end brands while staying at low prices. When thought to make this list, I didn’t realize that all the products I picked would all be from one brand so without planning it this has turned into a Maybelline Faves post! So enough of the chit chat, check out what my favourite products are below!

Dream Cushion Liquid Foundation On-The-Go: After a handful of good reviews from friends I decided to give this foundation a try and I loved it instantly. It provides medium coverage and it wears comfortably on my skin but I have to say one of my favourite parts of this product is how travel friendly it is! Everything you need is in this compact– the applicator, foundation and mirror all in one I mean this is the greatest for touch ups on the go, so happy I came across this product!

Master Contour Kit: I purchased this early this year when I wanted a new bronzer and really ended up liking this kit. The bronzer/contour colour as you can see from the photo is already seeing the pan at the bottom so yeah, you can say I use this product. The blush in this kit is a liiittle too pink for my liking so I don’t use it and highlight I just don’t use often but that contour colour I love to use just to put some colour back into my face after my foundation or bb cream, two thumbs up!

Master Bronzer: Since I took to the contour kit so well, once I saw Maybelline came out with its own bronzer kit I knew I had to grab it. I’m still in the first impression phase of owning this little palette but so far so good! It comes with two highlight colours, which I’m actually looking forward to trying out because they don’t seem to be too bright, at least on my skin tone the shine is very subtle which I prefer, and then two bronzers which I like to mix together, again, to bring colour back into my face after foundation

Lasting Drama Waterproof Eye Gel Pencil: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, pencil liners over liquid liners any day and this one is by far my favourite when it comes to drug store brands! My go-to was always the Stila Smudge Sticks, which I still love but also can’t justify spending close to $30 for eyeliner. This Maybelline one goes on just as smooth as the Stila liner, lasts all day long, and it’s about $11, such a win!

Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Lip Balm in Too Cool: Easily my favourite lip balm I’ve come across in a long time. There’s no colour to this product just clear and super soothing minty feeling on my lips, perfect for everyday use, so good!

And that’s it! I love all these products equally and they are no doubt all part of my daily make up routine Β in some way. Clearly I’ve tried lots of Maybelline products and have been quite happy with my finds but you can bet that I’m looking at other drug store brands as well to see what other hidden gems I can find. Let me know what your favourite drug store products are too! I’d love to hear what your faves are whether it’s more Maybelline products or anything else πŸ™‚
